Recently, I’ve changed jobs and now I work in the same town that I live in. It has been a wonderful move that has given me 2 hours of time taken back from the long commute to and from downtown each day. Plus I can visit with my family during lunch break or run an errand or doctor’s appointment without having to take the entire day off of work to do so. My new job also is more laid back than the old one and is more conducive to actually doing my job, being more comfortable and able to focus better… It’s not always possible to work close to home, but if you ever get the chance, I highly recommend it!
